WRAL-FM is gearing up for the MIX 101.5 25th Annual Radiothon for Duke Childrens Hospital, to be held next Tuesday and Wednesday, December 17-18, 2019. This will be the second year WRAL-FM has moved Radiothon to the holiday season, the perfect fit for the season of giving.
Radiothon is easily the most inspiring, most heartbreaking, most uplifting, most exhausting, most important thing we do all year, said WRAL-FM Asst Programming Director/Music Director Jim Kelly. 25 years of helping KIDS. That is truly what it is all about giving kids and their families hope. HOPE is the one word that has remained constant throughout the 25 years. I know first hand how great Duke Childrens Hospital is and the hope they give. All my kids were born there including my twins that were born at 26 weeks. Without Duke Childrens, I truly believe that I would not have my twins today. I know for me (and Im pretty sure its true for the whole staff) it is a labor of love.
MIX 101.5 will broadcast live from Duke Childrens Hospital during Radiothon, with MIX personalities on hand alongside special guests and children, parents, staff and families from the hospital.
The 25th Annual MIX 101.5 Radiothon for Duke Childrens Hospital will broadcast starting 6am each day, so listen in, learn, love and give!
