Leaders LV5837 and LV7700 test instruments turn heads at London Broadcast Video Expo 07 Mar 2013

Leader Instruments Corporation reports good attendance at Broadcast Video Expo 2013 in the events new location at the London ExCel. Exhibiting with UK reseller Thameside TV, Leader was represented by European Regional Development Manager Richard Heath.

We were very impressed both by the number of visitors who came to the show and by the level of interest in our range of broadcast test and monitoring equipment, Richard Heath commented. The new location is quite easy to reach from central London and attracted a very satisfactory proportion of mainstream broadcast production people. BVE is also well timed for UK visitors who dont want to trek out to NAB.

We promoted four recent additions to our product range: the Leader LV5837 audio signal and loudness monitor, LV7700 rasterizing signal analyser, LV5980 17 inch screen SDI waveform monitor and LV5307 7 inch screen compact monitor/rasterizer. Audio loudness monitoring is currently attracting attention from many broadcasters which resulted in a lot of discussion about the LV5837. We also experienced strong interest in the LV7700 which allows content production staff as well engineering supervisors to check the quality of their video and audio on a much larger screen than can be accommodated in a portable instrument.

An impressive turnout of customers and dealers came to the show from mainland Europe, adds Thameside TV Sales Manager Chris Margrave-Gregory. We also saw a very good level of attendance from the UK regions rather than the Soho-heavy attendance experienced every year when BVE was held at Earls Court. That wasnt an issue because we have good routine contacts with the central London facilities.

The next show in Leader Instruments exhibition calendar is NAB where the company will be exhibiting on booth C6516 in the Central Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center, 8-11 April.
