Shay Segev takes over as sole CEO of the sports streaming company

Sports streamer DAZN has announced the appointment of Shay Segev as the company's CEO.

Former co-CEO and DAZN co-founder James Rushton will continue with his existing responsibilities overseeing growth in local markets, rights and content.

The company has also appointed Darren Waterman joins as Group CFO.

DAZN is reportedly edging closer to acquiring BT Sport as it looks to gain a foothold in the UK's football rights market.
