Concha Garc a Campoy ha sido galardonada este mi rcoles con el Premio Nacional de Televisi n correspondiente al a o 2013, que concede el Ministerio de Educaci n, Cultura y Deporte. El jurado ha acordado conceder, a t tulo p stumo, el Premio Nacional a Concha Garc a Campoy en reconocimiento de la significaci n pionera de su trayectoria profesional, as como la excelencia y la ampl a repercusi n de su trabajo, faro y ejemplo de futuras generaciones de profesionales de televisi n . De igual manera, el Jurado destaca la independencia, elegancia y el modelo de superaci n reflejados en su trayectoria . El premio est dotado con 30.000 euros.
Concha Garc a Campoy (Tarrasa, 1958 Valencia, 2013) fue una periodista y presentadora de radio y televisi n que comenz su trayectoria profesional en 1979 en un programa radiof nico de la Cadena Cope en Ibiza. Un a o despu s, obtuvo la licenciatura de periodismo en la Facultad de Ciencias de la Informaci n de Barcelona y, en 1984, ingres en RTVE tras aprobar las oposiciones al ente p blico. Aqu inici su formaci n en los servicios informativos del canal, primero en las Islas Baleares y luego en Madrid.
Desde su salida de RTVE en 1987, pas por diferentes medios donde altern su actividad en la radio con algunos trabajos para televisi n. Desde septiembre de 2006 era miembro de la junta directiva y portavoz de la Academia de las Ciencias y las Artes de la Televisi n, y hasta enero de 2012 dirigi y present en Telecinco la edici n matinal de informativos.
Garc a Campoy fue galardonada con el Premio Ondas, el Micr fono de Oro y varias Antena de Oro, entre otros.

El jurado ha estado presidido por Teresa Lizaranzu, directora general de Pol tica e Industrias Culturales y del Libro, y Faustino D az, subdirector general de Promoci n de Industrias Culturales y Mecenazgo, ha actuado como vicepresidente. Los dem s componentes del jurado han sido Carmen Casta n Jim nez, directora del Gabinete del Secretario de Estado de Cultura; Manuel Campo Vidal, presidente de la Academia de las Ciencias y las Artes de Televisi n; Manuel Villanueva, director general de Contenidos de Mediaset Espa a; Jes s Andreu, director de la Fundaci n Carolina y exconsejero de la Corporaci n de Radio Televisi n Espa ola; Mar a Luisa Garc a de Cort zar, Catedr tica de la Universidad Nacional de Educaci n a Distancia experta en investigaci n desde la perspectiva de g nero; y Milagros Ayll n, periodista designada por Jes s Hermida, premiado en la edici n de 2012.
