SiOL TV Improving Its Range of Channels Ljubljana, 1 March On 6 March 2013 Telekom Slovenije will introduce many attractive changes to SiOL TV, adding some new programs, increasing the number of channels broadcast in HD, and rearranging the channel order in a more user friendly way. Now SiOL TV will offer 27 channels in HD, and that number will continue growing in the future. The new features will improve and enhance user experience, continuing the over 10 year long tradition of the ever innovative, first provider of IPTV in Slovenia, and even in all of Europe.
Most of the new SiOL TV features will affect subscribers to the Mega plan. Their Mega plan will be automatically migrated to the new, upgraded Mega HD plan, which will boast 17 new HD channels and 5 new channels in standard definition. The Mega HD plan will include a total of 20 HD channels with the existing SLO1 HD, SLO2 HD in Planet TV HD and the another 8 channels from the current HD add-on: Animal Planet HD, Discovery HD, Food Network HD, iConcerts HD, Wild TV HD, Travel HD, ESPN America HD, and History HD. The 9 new ones are: Fashion TV HD, Outdoor HD, Mezzo Live HD, Ginx HD, Motorvision HD, DocuBOX HD, FightBOX HD, FashionBOX HD, and MTV HD. The new standard definition channels in Mega HD will be: BBC knowledge (exclusively on SiOL TV), Crime & Investigation, Jugoton, OBN, and Bloomberg. The monthly subscription fee for the Mega HD package will be increased merely 2.5 for the wealth of new programs. The new subscription fee takes effect on 1 April and will be charged according to the old Mega plan until then.
The HD add-on will be renamed the Eurosport HD add-on, named for the addition of Eurosport HD and Eurosport 2 HD. The monthly subscription fee for the add-on will be 3. The Eksplosivni add-on will be a little bit spicier with new HD channels Hustler HD, EroxHD, EroxxHD, and EroxxxHD This add-on will cost 5, 1 more than before. Subscription fees for both new add-ons will take effect on 1 April.
Now SiOL TV will offer the most HD channels in Slovenia 27 of them! HD is supported on all types of SiOL TV set top boxes that are available to users right now.
We also listened to the suggestions of many of our users and on 6 March will be rearranging our channel order, which will now be grouped into categories or similar topics of interest. These changes will not affect those of you who have already set the channel order to your own needs. Now users will be able to reorder all channels to suit their wishes, including those that were previously fixed.
