Netflix announced today the release on February 3 of INFIESTO, the new film by Patxi Amezcua starring Isak F rriz and Iria del R o among others.

Patxi Amezcua, director of films such as The 7th Floor and screenwriter of A Man of Action, Gun City, and The Warning among others, writes and directs this disturbing mystery thriller in which the investigation into the reappearance of a young woman who had been presumed dead for months will uncover an even darker secret hidden in the Asturian mining area. The pressure of the investigation is even worse as it is March 2020 and a state of emergency has just begun.

Produced by Vaca Films for Netflix, INFIESTO stars Isak F rriz (Below Zero, Feria: The Darkest Light) and Iria del R o (Dancing on Glass, Elite). Completing the cast are Jos Manuel Poga (Money Heist) and Luis Zahera (The Beasts) among others. The film was shot over seven weeks in natural locations in Asturias and Galicia.

Synopsis

March 2020. On the first day of the state of emergency, two detectives are called to a small mining town in the Asturian lowlands where a young woman has appeared after having been missing for months. While the world is falling apart and personal tragedy strikes all around, the detectives soon notice that the virus might not be the only dark force at work.
