WASHINGTON, Jan. 12, 2015 Harris Corporation (NYSE: HRS) and prime contractor nLogic were awarded a contract to provide the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) with network infrastructure services for the Department of Defense Commissary system. Harris and nLogic will provide network infrastructure support for 245 military commissaries and seven central distribution centers in the United States and abroad that support U.S. military and DOD retirees. The commissary system is vital to our military and particularly to military families, who face frequent deployments and relocations, said Chico Moline, vice president and general manager, Harris IT Services. Harris and nLogic will team to deliver the kind of secure operation that military personnel and their families have come to expect in the private sector. Harris has been supporting DeCA for more than 10 years and works to ensure the commissaries networks are fully operational and secure.
