Watch provides gripping viewing with Boston s Finest

UKTV has today announced an acquisition deal with Endemol Worldwide Distribution, which will bring the UK premiere of unscripted reality show Boston's Finest to its flagship entertainment channel Watch.

The gripping new series (8x60), executive produced by Hollywood talent Donnie Wahlberg (Blue Bloods and Band of Brothers), takes viewers on a dramatic journey into the lives of Bostons police officers both on and off the job. Bostons Finest offers an up-close and very personal look at what it takes to protect and serve one of Americas most distinctive cities.

Coming to screens mid-August, the programme follows the fearless actions of the entire Boston Police Department, including patrol officers, detectives, special task forces and members of the SWAT team, the Fugitive Unit and highly decorated Gang Unit.

The deal was brokered by UKTV Acquisitions Executive, Emma Sparks and Endemol Worldwide Distribution's Sales Director UK & Eire, Gisela Asimus-Minnbergh.

Productions. The series will premiere in the UK on Watch next month.
