Munich | 06/22/2015 | Corporate Hameg Instruments GmbH to be integrated into Rohde & Schwarz GmbH & Co. KG Over the coming year, the Rohde & Schwarz group of companies will fully integrate subsidiary Hameg Instruments GmbH into its Test and Measurement Division. The integration will promote growth for its Value Instruments - the companys lower-priced T&M equipment. Full integration of Hameg Instruments GmbH into Rohde & Schwarz GmbH & Co. KG is the final step in an increasingly closer relationship between the corporation and its subsidiary. As early as mid 2014, new products from Hameg were introduced under the Rohde & Schwarz brand.
The Hameg product portfolio has become an important part of the Rohde & Schwarz Value Instrument strategy for offering quality T&M equipment at an affordable price. Hameg Managing Director Andr Vander Stichelen says, We want to continue to grow our Value Instruments. Integration into the Test and Measurement Division enables us to standardize processes and better leverage synergistic effects. This will allow us to better serve our customers.
The integration process is scheduled to be completed over the course of the coming year. Rohde & Schwarz will take over sales and service for Hameg products. The Hameg locations in Mainhausen and Chemnitz will remain and focus more on product development and product management in the future.
