Launch of MassMotion 10.5 with multi-language support

The MassMotion team is delighted to announce MassMotion 10.5 - providing additional upgrades to the world's most flexible simulation software and easiest tool to put people at the heart of your design.

MassMotion 10.5 and Flow 10.5 offer multi-language support for the first time, allowing for localisation to new and existing users. Our first language supported other than English is Simplified Chinese, based on demand from existing Chinese users. The aim is to add additional languages over time to respond to our growing user base.

Additionally, BIM importing has been made significantly faster and more flexible thanks to new IFC import functionality. Users will find the new import system up to an order of magnitude faster for large models. New import filters allow for the import of certain types of IFC, allowing imports to be refined for project needs.

Other quality of life upgrades include additional analysis functionality for Elevators, building on the release of Elevators in MassMotion 10. Users can easily analyse wait time or elevator trip time with inbuilt queries, and changes to agent behaviour means that agents now react more accurately to complex routes involving the choice of elevator and stair/escalator alternatives. Wait Spaces also have additional flexibility: they can now be connected to Process Chains for more detailed waiting behaviour in a range of environments.

Finally, further updates to the continually improving MassMotion Software Development Kit allow for projects to be extended and automated using a variety of scripting and coding languages, further improving flexibility for this powerful way of interacting with MassMotion.
