TeliaSonera launches Nordic services for a faster internet

TeliaSonera and EdgeCast Networks have signed a partnership agreement that will bring new site acceleration and CDN solutions to TeliaSoneras's business customers in the Nordic markets. The aim is to meet increasing demands for acceleration and more secure distribution via the internet. TeliaSoneras Content Delivery Network (CDN) brings content closer to the end user, with superior quality for an enhanced user experience.

Ever increasing information volumes are being sent over the internet and streaming services in particular are what is driving traffic. This increases demands for stability and capacity in the network. TeliaSonera CDN offers solutions that achieve both great web performance and scalability for websites and applications on the Nordic enterprise market. For media and entertainment, TeliaSonera will provide unprecedented reach and quality for over-the-top internet based services. TeliaSonera CDN is aimed at both companies with highly streamed content online, such as media companies, and also enterprises that need fast and secure websites such as e-commerce companies and public authorities.
