But Can Jilly Say I Love You? Virgin Media announces winners of Inaugural Oscar - Here Boy! Awards

To celebrate the launch of the new YouTube channel for TiVo customers (198), and with a Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen called Jilly crowned Best in Show at Crufts, Virgin Media has named Mishka, the Talking Husky Dog, who has declared I Love You over 82 million times as Best in Show at its alternative Crufts awards.

Based upon Crufts tried and tested categories, such as the Flyball team racing event and Heelwork to Music competitions, the inaugural Oscar - Here Boy! awards are based upon a combination of judges' scores and online views.

Nick Forward, editor in chief of digital entertainment at Virgin Media added: With our awards, we wanted to bring the world's greatest dog show into the age of the internet viral video hit. With web phenomena like LOL Cats and Ninja Cats creating huge online buzz over the last 12 months, we want to give dog lovers a chance to redress the balance of the online battle of cats vs. dogs.

Having pawed through hours of the finest viral funnies, we are pleased to crown Mishka the talking Husky as Best In Show 2013. From the ancient poets to modern day film makers and now YouTube, Mishka has proved that love is the greatest artistic subject matter of all time.

While Crufts will be searching for a canine as limber and nimble as a prima ballerina, Virgin Media's judging panel preferred to celebrate enthusiasm in movement (ahem), with Loca the bouncing, flouncing Pug taking first place.

Runner-up position was awarded to the Golden Retriever parent and puppy team. The heart-warming clip shows pedigree step-handling skills being passed down from generation to generation.

2. Obedience Competition

With epic will power, astonishing attentiveness to his master's voice and over 132 million hits, the Ultimate Dog Tease strolled into winning position.
