Audionamix Separates and Preserves Speech with IDC: Instant Dialogue Cleaner Plug-In

Audionamix, the global leader in audio source separation, introduces IDC: Instant Dialogue Cleaner plug-in, its first real-time, cloudless solution. IDC offers unique and effective dialogue cleaning technology through an intuitive interface, and is compatible with many post-production and broadcast workflows. The software will be available for pre-launch sale starting on July 2 and will officially be released on July 17.

The IDC plug-in is versatile and easy to use due to its unique, integrated DNN artificial intelligence that automatically detects and separates speech, no matter the surrounding content. Specifically, the software excels at addressing common audio issues including complex interference, wind, birds or insects, car and plane interference and roomy recordings. With the turn of a knob, users can clean up dialogue from production audio, field recordings, news and sports recordings, and more, making it the perfect tool for audio post professionals, dialogue editors, re-recording mixers and broadcast engineers.

IDC is unique because unlike traditional denoisers that learn and remove noise, it works by separating and preserving speech, regardless of the interference, says Maciej Zielinski, CEO of Audionamix. This plug-in offers immediate dialogue clean up with the turn of a knob and addresses common audio issues such as complex variable noise interference including weather, traffic noise, music and room ambience.

The feature set will include independent gain control over separated background and speech elements, allowing users to remove unwanted background content and preserve separated speech. The separation strength parameter controls the amount of separated background to avoid artifacts. The IDC GUI helps to easily manage background interference levels with a turn of the main knob. Additionally, output level control prevents clipping or overloading the plug-in, while output meter and clip indicator indicate the overall output level of the plug-in.

IDC will be available in VST, AU, AAX Native and AudioSuite formats for both Mac and Windows systems. The plug-in supports samples rates between 44.1kHz to 192kHz, bit depths between 16- to 32-bits, and features fully-automatable plug-in settings. During the pre-launch period, the perpetual license will be priced at $139, and will then increase to $199 after the pre-launch period ends on July 17.
