Lishe International Airport Station of Ningbo Metro Line opens to public

The construction on the Lishe International Airport Station of the Ningbo Metro Line 2 was completed on December 16. As the first completed station of the Ningbo Metro Line 2, the Lishe International Airport Station received a lot of compliments from citizens as soon as it opened to the public.

According to the introduction, the airport station will be the construction standard of the Ningbo Metro Line 2, with the other stations of line 2 to be built according to it.

With the theme of Yongbang's Road , the stations of the Ningbo Metro Line 2 will be equipped with entrances decorated with red lines, dark blue ceilings painted with clouds, and traditional Chinese windows. Meanwhile, the decoration of the Town God's Temple Station will highlight the traditional folk culture with Kongming Lantern-style ceilings and the decoration of the Railway Station Station will highlight water culture with circlular wave-shaped roofs. Besides, the vending machines will be shortened from 2 meters to 1.8 meters to meet the need of the elderly and children who wish to buy a ticket, and the automatic fare gates and the rest areas of the stations will be improved to be more convenient for passengers.

With a total length of 28.35 kilometers and consisting of 22 stations, the first phase of the Ningbo Metro Line 2 is expected to be put into trail operation by the end of 2015, and 11 of its stations' public areas are expected to be completed by the 2015 Spring Festival.
