4K tour by the Spanish World Heritage cities Spanish television series premiered its first documentary filmed in Ultra High Definition treatment High Dynamic Range (HDR).
Spanish television show in the series Spanish World Heritage Cities the historical and cultural richness of the 15 cities in Spain declared World Heritage by UNESCO.
The premiere of this production in 4K HDR will be on Saturday December 10 in La 2 with the documentary about Avila. The series can also be seen in the International channel, RTVE.es and the Red Button.
En la presentaci n celebrada este lunes en Prado del Rey han estado presentes el presidente de RTVE, Jos Antonio S nchez; la presidenta del Grupo de Ciudades Patrimonio de la Humanidad de Espa a (GCPHE) y alcaldesa de C ceres, Elena Nevado; el alcalde de Alcal de Henares, Javier Rodr guez; el alcalde de vila, Jos Luis Rivas; la alcaldesa de Baeza, Dolores Mar n; el alcalde de Cuenca, ngel Mariscal; el alcalde de Santiago de Compostela, Marti o Noriega; la alcaldesa de Segovia, Clara Luquero; y la alcaldesa de Toledo, Milagros Tol n. Asimismo, han acudido los concejales de Turismo de algunas de las ciudades que participan en el Grupo de Ciudades Patrimonio
The president of GCPHE highlighted the issue that La 2 will offer this series and underlined the TVE International, as "a showcase for cities" and also "to the Brand Spain" worldwide.
Bethlehem Molinero, Director of the series, recalled that the original idea came in October 2015 in Avila and stressed the difficulty they have had to "being filmed in exterior, interior, with air planes and drones". Finally, it explained that the purpose of these documentaries is "telling the story of cities, always from the point of view of respect, integration and what it means for the people".
The documentaries
Avila, Alcala de Henares, Baeza, Caceres, Cordoba, Cuenca, Ibiza, Merida, Salamanca, San Cristobal de la Laguna, Santiago de Compostela, Segovia, Tarragona, Toledo and Ubeda are the protagonists cities of the 15 documentaries, 55 minutes duration, where the cultural and historical richness that has earned them the distinctive Heritage Cities will be displayed.
The documentary series, born from the signing of a cooperation agreement between RTVE and the Group of Spanish Cities Heritage, visit places and most emblematic of each of these cities with the help of the people who inhabit buildings, living and care for their city, so they will also be protagonists of the story.
Spanish World Heritage Cities est basada en una idea original y dirigida por Bel n Molinero, y ha sido rodada en Ultra Alta Definici n con tratamiento de Alto Rango Din mico (HDR) y con sonido 5.1, lo que sit a a este producto en la m s absoluta innovaci n tecnol gica. La serie cuenta con rodaje de interiores y exteriores naturales, planos a reos, im genes de drones, cabezas calientes y c maras steadicam. Adem s, la sinton a original, as como parte de la banda sonora han sido grabadas por la Orquesta de RTVE.
La serie, que se emitir tambi n a trav s de TVE Internacional, se desarrollar a lo largo de cuatro a os siguiendo un orden cronol gico, seg n el a o en el que cada ciudad recibi la distinci n. Los tres primeros episodios, correspondientes a las ciudades de vila, Santiago de Compostela y Segovia, se estrenar n en La 2 los d as 10, 17 y 24 de diciembre, a las 19:00 horas.
The rest will be shot in blocks of four episodes per year. Thus, in 2017 the filming of Caceres, Merida, Toledo and Salamanca will be held; 2018 C rdoba, Cuenca, Alcal de Henares and Ibiza will be recorded; and in 2019, San Cristobal de la Laguna, Tarragona, Baeza and Ubeda.
