It's time to take a step back and review what the company has achieved throughout this year while we quickly approach its ecuador and we plan ahead to make sure this is the most successful year in VSN's history, not just in numbers but in terms of clients, projects and, most importantly, developments. VSNEXPLORER now covers the whole media lifecycle
2016 is half-way down to its end and this is the perfect time to take a look at what the year has given us and how VSN is making an impact on the Broadcast and Media & Entertainment industries. From the end of last year -when the company made a huge step forward by completing the ultimate End-To-End IT systems- VSN has perfected its control over the whole media lifecycle in any given company (small or large Broadcasters, Corporations, Governments or producers). Moreover, it has become flexible and nimble enough to offer a complete solution that provides the user with total visibility, controlling at all times where, when and how the media is being processed.
After this huge achievement the path to excellence has not ended, but it has become more interesting. This is the time to challenge the status quo and make a step forward to redefine the limits of our industry. As Jordi Utiel, VSN's CEO pointed out: We work very hard to monitor the Broadcast and Media & Entertainment industries every day, to know where the sector is going to and how the changing needs of the industry are evolving, so that we can always include the best solution for solving those needs in our portfolio.
Now, on June 2016, VSN is proud to highlight that, thanks to partnerships and its own developments, its products and solutions have been enhanced like never before. Own developments included a stronger Business Intelligence layer that integrates current databases to gather all key decision making under one single solution: VSNEXPLORER. The most advanced MAM system in the industry is now future-ready, and includes native Dash Player, customizable metadata, built-your-own workflows, Kanban view to ease agile work environments, and many others with the aim of controlling every piece of the media lifecycle, from ingest to distribution and archive.
In terms of distribution, it is time to reach anyone, anywhere! From the Master Control Room, operators gain more power to decide and make changes in real time over what is being broadcasted, distributed over WebTV or second screens and over what goes to OTT. They can now also manage how media reaches social networks at the scheduled time to broader its impact. Last, but not least, news and live events are able to go on air faster thanks to an enhanced workflow which focuses on being as efficient as possible, because in our industry, being first means everything.
Review a brief summary of what VSN introduced at NAB 2016:
Strategy-wise, the company is getting focused on its strengths, while projects are coming in from all over the world, and new and interesting references choose VSN at key regions for the company such as Europe, Latin America and Asia Pacific. At the same time, current clients are devoted to VSN because of its tight relationship with them, rating all post-project services above 8,5 out of 10.
This has been recognized several times during the past months, by clients and industry peers alike. Indeed, a few weeks ago the company reached a milestone by being awarded as The Company of the Year.
