ACCESS CO., LTD (IBC stand 14.D14), and Zenterio AB (IBC balcony suite BS20), today announced demonstrations of their joint solution for operator services, combining Zenterio OS and JetUI with the NetFront Browser family for seamless experiences on all screens. Today, the solutions are used by a number of tier 1 operators in Europe, including Deutsche Telekom, Hrvatski Telekom, OTE Group and M7 Group.
Our relationship with Zenterio started in 2014. Since then, we have together established the benefits of a tight integration between operating system and HTML5 platform to provide the flexible, fast moving environment that operators need, said Dr. Neale Foster, Managing Director and COO at ACCESS Europe. Zenterio shares our strong belief in developing turnkey solutions based on open standards, and we are proud that innovative operators looking to offer best in class multiscreen services are deploying our joint solution. Our IBC demonstrations will showcase to operators how they can deliver exciting media experiences in the living room, on the go and in the connected car.
The ACCESS NetFront Browser NX HTML5 solution is based on enhancing open source solutions with technologies and experience deployed in over 1.5 billion devices worldwide and is compatible with worldwide industry standards for interactive services such as HbbTV, BML and Hybridcast.
Visitors to IBC will be able to witness the joint solution, which combines ACCESS NetFront Browser NX HTML5 engine with the independent operating system for interactive TV Zenterio OS and the Operator focused HTML5 user experience, JetUI. The expertise of ACCESS and Zenterio reduces integration time and provides operators with a flexible choice of set-top box platform to enable them to offer the latest advanced services to their customers both more quickly and at lower cost.

At IBC, we will showcase JetUI, a high performance HTML5 based user experience running on NetFront Browser NX pre-integrated with Zenterio OS on Broadcom and MStar based set-top boxes to excite operators about standards based solutions.

ACCESS solutions provide a true choice of the Chromium or WebKit HTML5 engines for support of HbbTV standards. Solutions are available for all major global standards such as HbbTV 1.5 and HbbTV 2.0.1 as well as regional or country specific standards such as Freeview Play 2017 in the UK.
Extended support for reduced code size and run-time memory footprint, custom media players, JavaScript extensions and enhanced security mean that the NetFront Browser family is the best choice for HbbTV and HTML 5 platforms.
The integration of ACCESS solutions with Zenterio OS will be showcased at IBC on the ACCESS stand #14.D14 and Zenterio balcony suite BS20.
On Sunday, September 17 at 15:30 16:15, ACCESS will also be taking part in a panel discussion entitled Service design considerations for the multi-screen OTT world in the Content Everywhere Hub (Hall #14.J10). Attendees to the panel discussion will be able to learn about the various elements to take into account when developing a multiscreen-friendly user experience.
