Sony incorporar nuevas actualizaciones y mejoras para su sistema de c mara cinematogr fica Venice CineAlta, incluida la versi n 2 del firmware, mejorado y disponible a primeros de julio de 2018. Con estas mejoras pretende que su c mara gane en flexibilidad y mejorar la ergonom a.
Por otro lado, Sony ha anunciado un plan para dar compatibilidad a la tecnolog a de alta frecuencia de rango en el sistema Venice.
La versi n 2 a ade nuevas funciones y capacidades, espec ficamente solicitadas por los profesionales de la producci n para aumentar las capacidades de grabaci n, personalizar el aspecto, contar con m s herramientas de exposici n y tener m s libertad a la hora de trabajar con los objetivos.
Una de las principales mejoras es que, con m s de 15 pasos de latitud de exposici n, Venice ser compatible con ISO base alto de 2500 adem s del ISO de 500 existente, lo que permite aprovechar por completo el exclusivo sensor de Sony y rendir de forma ptima con baja iluminaci n gracias al excepcional rango din mico de +6 a -9 pasos con el gris medio al 18 %. Esto aumenta los ndices de exposici n en los valores ISO m s altos para trabajar en exteriores nocturnos e interiores oscuros, utilizar objetivos m s lentos o tratar el contenido con alto rango din mico, todo ello sin perder ni un solo detalle en las sombras.
La c mara permitir ahora seleccionar la velocidad (no est ndar) en incrementos de cuadro individuales, de 1 a 60.
La V2.0 a ade como novedad varios modos de imagen, como el modo de cuadro completo con resoluci n 6K a 25p, 4K a 25p, 4:3 anam rfico, 6K, 17:9, 1.85:1 o 4K 6:5 anam rfico.
Tambi n los usuarios pueden personalizar sus propios aspectos y guardarlos en la c mara como LUT 3D.
Por otra parte, Sony ofrece ahora un control remoto con LAN por cable con el que los usuarios pueden controlar y cambiar de forma remota las funciones clave, incluidos los ajustes de c mara, FPS, obturador, EI, iris (objetivos con montura en E de Sony) o inicio/detenci n de grabaci n, as como los filtros ND pticos integrados.
Por ltimo, los usuarios pueden retirar la montura PL y utilizar un amplio abanico de objetivos con montura en E nativos.
Sistema de extensi n VeniceEn Cine Gear 2018, Sony mostrar el sistema de extensi n Venice, un sistema de fotograma completo integrado que permite distanciar el cuerpo de la c mara de la unidad del sensor de imagen en s a m s de 6 metros sin degradar la calidad de imagen. Se trata del resultado de una larga colaboraci n entre Sony y Lightstorm Entertainment, de James Cameron.

Las secuelas de Avatar estar n entre las primeras pel culas en utilizar el nuevo sistema de extensi n Venice, aunque esta tiene un potencial tremendo para otros usos con estabilizadores manuales, drones y cardanes, as como en montajes remotos en espacios cerrados , a ade.
Sony tambi n anunciar los detalles de una actualizaci n opcional para ofrecer compatibilidad con la tecnolog a de alta frecuencia de rango, con la que se alcanzar n velocidades de hasta 60 fps en 6K, hasta 90 fps en 4K y hasta 120 fps en 2K. La actualizaci n se lanzar en primavera de 2019.[1]
