Ideal Systems Launches Cloud Services Department with James Taylor posted: 18/05/2017
Ideal Systems Group today announced that James Taylor has joined in a newly created role of Head of Cloud Solutions and Services. James will be responsible for building a new core team focused on Cloud and IP solutions and services for Media Companies and Broadcasters in Asia. This new team will compliment and support Ideal's regional offices offering specialized consultancy, systems architecture and software integration services to enable Ideal's customers to execute an efficient path into the Cloud.
We are very excited to have James on board, the timing is perfect, we are already doing a number of IP and Software Defined Video Network projects from Japan to Singapore at the moment and we are accelerating our IP and Cloud strategies. Having a strong core team with Cloud, IP and Networking skills on top of our existing strong engineering experience in traditional broadcast technologies enables us to provide the best migration strategies and solutions to our customers in their move to IP and Cloud Ideal Systems Group CEO, Jim Butler.
James joins Ideal Systems from Turner International Asia Pacific where he was Director of Technology. Prior to Turner James was a Solution Architect, Engineer and Project Manager at GlobeCast in Hong Kong, London and Singapore. James also worked with Miranda Technologies in the UK and Hong Kong in Software Development and Master Control. James holds an Honors Bachelors of Science Degree with a specialization in Digital Signal Processing and Systems Design.
