Final Schedule Announced for Inaugural SPROCKIT at 2013 NAB Show Ten Startups to Present with Industry Leaders and Pitch their Solutions to Potential Partners
Washington, D.C. -- NAB Show today announced the program schedule for SPROCKIT, a new initiative that gives 10 startups the opportunity to present their products or services live at the 2013 NAB Show, April 6-11 in Las Vegas. Unlike traditional startup programs, SPROCKIT identifies breakaway market-ready companies and puts them on stage alongside the major players in the industry.
The 10 invited startups will have multiple opportunities to showcase their offerings to industry executives and show attendees, but the most anticipated sessions are the SPROCKIT Startups Pitches. Each startup will be allotted five minutes to pitch their company and value proposition, followed by a brief Q&A session, to potential partners who will be onsite for the presentations. Monday, April 8, 10:45 - 11:30 a.m. PT Content management startups: Localytics, Collective[i], Standard Media Index
Tuesday, April 9, 1:45 - 2:45 p.m. PT Content distribution startups: The Whistle, Tivli, Everloop, Shelby.tv
Wednesday, April 10, 10:45 - 11:30 a.m. PT Content creation startups: FlixMaster SnappyTV, NewsiT
Also highly anticipated are the on-stage, one-on-one meetings between the SPROCKIT startups and executives from leading media and entertainment corporations. In these Corner-Office Meetings, attendees can watch the dialogue between entrepreneurs and executives as they discuss the industry and how their respective companies can forge relationships. Throughout the show, all 2013 NAB Show attendees are able to visit the SPROCKIT Hub a dedicated space on the Show floor to speak directly with the startup founders. The SPROCKIT Hub will be home to multiple events, presentations and opportunities for attendees to learn and discuss the future of media and entertainment. Game-changing innovations and seismic industry changes rarely happen on their own.
