Al Jazeera
Al Jazeera, celebrating their 20th anniversay, created a massive election studio that combines a video wall and augmented reality (AR) graphics seamlessly. The video wall is controlled by Viz Multiplay while the AR graphics are from Viz Virtual Studio. A custom data controller was created by Astucemedia and the system is designed so that the same content is automatically distributed in each language covered by Al Jazeera including English, Arabic and Bosnian.

In Mexico, Televisa is driving their live coverage with the Viz Mosart automation system and using Viz Virtual Studio to add #augmentedreality graphics to the studio.

Al Arabiya
Al Arabiya has created some stunning augmented reality (AR) graphics over the Dubai Media City lake. Using Viz Virtual Studio and Spidercam, the map over the lake is over 100,000 square feet and the AR graphics on the side of the MBC building are 30 meters tall.

ABC News
ABC News has taken over a large part of Times Square with their election studio and displaying election results on the big screens around the square. They are using only two Viz Engines to power all the screens which display election results coming from Astucemedias data controller.

Across the pond, BBC News is using Viz Virtual Studio to show demographics and the electoral count while in the studio they use a touchscreen running Viz Engine to give an interactive look at the election.

NBC News
NBC News just debuted their stunning augmented reality (AR) graphics. So lets take a moment to talk about how this is done - I love this stuff.
The augmented reality content was created by Girraphic and is completely data driven to account for a large number of races. NBC is using 4 tracked cameras - 2 jibs (8 meter arms) and 2 PTZF fixed position cameras. The tracking systems are provided by stYpe and they send data to the Viz Virtual Studio tracking servers.
A total of 5 Viz Engines are being used for all of tonights AR graphics. Thats 2 for NBC, 2 for MSNBC, and 1 for Telemundo - NBCs Spanish language network.

The Washington Post
The Washington Post has launched live coverage of the election online. Design firm Polygon Labs is on-site and built their presentation using Viz Artist and the Vizrt Social TV solution. Heres a quick look into the control room. You can see the live stream here.
