Emotional delivery of the gold medal posthumously to Jos Salcedo The daughter and the companion of the renowned editor picked up the award in a ceremony that was attended by directors such as Pedro Almod var, Agust n D az Yanes, Pedro Olea, Josetxo San Mateo or Emilio Arag n.

The Film Academy yesterday delivered Thursday the gold medal posthumously to the editor Jos Salcedo, who died last September. The Act was attended by the daughter and the companion of manchego teacher, Mar a Salcedo and Rosa Ortiz, who collected the award from the President of the institution, Yvonne Blake, who received a warm and emotional applause of many attendees at the event.

Family, friends and colleagues of Salcedo, winner of three Goya Awards for women on the verge of a nervous breakdown, nobody will speak of us when weve died and all about my mother, they remembered with devotion to this renowned Professional Edition "which was working from the heart".

Los cineastas Pedro Almod var, Agust n D az Yanes, Pedro Olea, Josetxo San Mateo y Emilio Arag n; el m sico Alberto Iglesias, el veterano montador Pedro del Rey; y el director del Festival de Valladolid, Javier Angulo, quien anunci que en la pr xima reuni n del consejo del certamen plantear a la creaci n de un premio al montaje que lleve el nombre de Pepe Salcedo, intervinieron en el acto que tuvo como maestras de ceremonia a la productura Ana Amigo y a la directora y guionista Yolanda Garc a Serrano.

El galard n ha sido dise ado y cedido por Chus Bur s a la Academia de Cine.
