As Earl Miller Productions (EMP) the Texas-based mobile production provider, continues their HD upgrades for its EMP Unit 3. The 34-foot truck maintains EMPs commitment to consistency and world-class imagery, with six new Ikegami HDK-79EC2 HD Native Multi-Format CMOS Cameras on board.

EMP Unit 3 is the latest in EMPs four-truck fleet to feature HD Ikegami cameras, and will see heavy use nationwide for college sports and entertainment broadcasts on major networks. The HDK-79EC2 can be used with Ikegamis CCU-890M camera control unit for built-in fiber and optional triax connectivity for convenient mobile and studio flexibility. EMPs engineers can choose the type of camera cable with a simple switch at the CCU, combined with mounting the docking FA fiber adapter or TA triax adapter to the camera head, making the cameras very versatile.
