Actress and Gqom star Sibusisiwe Jili, who played police officer Georgina Zulu will not be returning to Mzansi Magic's cancelled telenovela The Queen this season.

INSIDE SIBUSISIWE JILI'S EXIT Sunday World reports that Sibusisiwe Jili's character Georgina Zulu has been frozen after two years on The Queen and that she's also gone separate ways with her fianc and baby daddy Tshepo Tsele.

Georgina who was Patronella and Mjekejeke's eldest daughter in the telenovela joined the show in 2020 as a police officer a year ago.

A source close to the actress told the publication that she lost her job and has gone back home to KwaZulu-Natal.

After she lost her job on The Queen, Jili moved back home in Pietermaritzburg to regroup and cool off, said the tipster.

Jili confirmed the break-up when she was contacted and said she has gone back home, but asked to be left alone when pressed for more details.

Can I please be left alone, yes I am back home for now, why don't you ask your sources all these questions? I am emotionally drained, she said before hanging up.

The telenovela made headlines earlier this year when Mzansi Magic confirmed that it's coming to an end on 13 January 2023.

The Queen was renewed for a shortened seventh and final season, with only 125 episodes instead of the usual 260-episode season order. Season seven premiered in July.

OTHER ACTORS WHO EXITED THE QUEEN' Jili is the fourth actor to exit the show this season after Jessica Nkosi, who played Thando Sebata, Hector Sebata, who played Hector Sebata, and Nomsa Buthelezi, who played MaJali Khoza.

It is unclear at this stage if fan-favourite actress Zandile Msutwana, who played Detective Vuyiswa Maake has exited the show as she hasn't made an appearance since the beginning of season seven.

It is believed Jili also broke up with her baby daddy Tshepo Tsele as he was hiding certain crucial information about his private life and business ventures.

The tipster added that Jili also complained that Tsele has misled her about his qualifications.

He was making a lot of things up, but I can't go into details. He was misleading her about things like his qualifications and business, said the source.

Another deep throat said what also rubbed Jili the wrong way is the behaviour of people close to her baby daddy who hid the truth from her. She felt more betrayed.
