Paris, France : Next week, Volfoni proudly continues its official 3D partnership with Kinorinok, Russias International Film Market now in its 94th year. This edition of Kinorinok is held in Sochi, Russia on June 2nd, 2014. Its one of the biggest events for all members of the film industry in Russia, with more than 1000 representatives from the largest companies in the film industry. Volfonis participation is a testament to our growing presence in Russia, as we are currently the 3rd largest 3D provider in the country.
All projections of Hollywood and Russian studio films in 3D at Kinorinok will use Volfonis latest high-end passive 3D theater system: SmartCrystal Diamond. Powered by Volfonis innovative Triple Beam Technology, the brightness achieved by the Diamond technology greatly surpasses all other 3D systems currently on the market, with 28% light efficiency (LEF). The Smart Crystal Diamond has its high-end 3D image quality approved by the major Hollywood studios, is designed and produced in Europe, and comes with a 3-year warranty (and optional 2-year extension). And, just like Volfonis other passive 3D theater systems, the Smart Crystal Diamond allows theater-owners the ability to own the light: no contracts, no licenses, no fees.
Over 300 Volfoni 3D theater systems have been installed in Russia since 2011, meaning Volfoni holds roughly 10.2% of the Russian market share, a percentage that is steadily increasing (statistics taken from http://www.dcp24.ru/en).
