CueScript's CSMPPB Perfect Balance Plate was recognized for innovation with a Best of Show award by TV Tech and was the recipient of a Product of the Year award from NAB in the Camera Support, Control and Accessories category. CueScript's CSMPPB Perfect Balance Plate, the first of its kind, redefines teleprompter setup by tackling common challenges in balancing, alignment, and weight management. Unlike traditional setups that rely on additional counterweights, the Perfect Balance Plate provides exceptional balance on its own to ensure proper alignment of both the camera and teleprompter. Its intuitive design features a flat, adjustable base that eliminates unnecessary steps, reduces complexity, and seamlessly integrates with a wide variety of camera lenses, including setups like the SONY FR7, speeding up the setup process. The Perfect Balance Plate allows the production team to focus on the event, not equipment adjustments. Whether in the studio or in the field, it ensures a smoother, more efficient teleprompter setup with a compact, lightweight design easily transported between locations.
We designed the CSMPBB Perfect Balance Plate with the customer in mind, explained Michael Accardi, president of CueScript. Teleprompter setups often occur under tight time constraints, reacting to breaking news or last-minute events making efficient setup critical. The intuitive design of the CSMPPB effortlessly adapts to various configurations. It is a game-changer when it comes to focusing on the event and not the system.
