Cologne / Unterf hring, February 26, 2015 - ProSiebenSat.1 Group and Unitymedia KabelBW have signed an agreement regarding the integration of maxdome video-on-demand content into the portfolio of the cable network operator. With this agreement, maxdome becomes an integral part of Unitymedia KabelBWs new TV and triple-play (TV, Internet, telephony services) offerings. Beginning in March, Unitymedia Kabel BWs more than seven million customers will be able to directly subscribe to the new bundles and offerings at a fixed monthly price (Subscription Video on-Demand). The SVoD content from maxdome will be integrated into Unitymedia and KabelBWs TV platform, available via its set-top boxes and via its multi-screen service Horizon Go on PCs and on-the-go.
Customers of the cable network operator already had access to certain transactional VoD content comprising various TV formats from ProSiebenSat.1 channels. With the agreement, both companies are expanding their successful cooperation and are now working even more closely together on the marketing of entertainment content across all TV and media platforms.

With this latest agreement, the range of entertainment offered by Unitymedia KabelBW will be greatly expanded and, at the same time, the potential reach of maxdome will be increased significantly. Over seven million customers of Unitymedia KabelBW will be given the opportunity to subscribe to maxdome directly via their cable service.
