Admin Assistants, Urban Academy, August onwards

Urban Academy are looking for two experienced administration assistants to help support the centre manager in all aspects of office admin including, but not limited to, liaising with head office (particularly the finance department), logging staff whereabouts, post distribution, filing and rooms bookings as well as helping to facilitate the extended and extra-curricular opportunities of all students and occasional research and administrative work on behalf of the Young People.

The positions will commence in August (date to be decided at interview) in preparation for the new school term in September and the applicants must be able to commit to two days per week (week days) for at least twelve weeks. Applicants must be in possession of an up to date Kids Company DBS/police check.

Countryside Live at Lee Valley Park, 25th September 2013

Eight volunteers needed to accompany two classes of Year Five students (age 9-10) from and to Riverley School, Leyton, to Lee Valley so they can enjoy the hands-on activities at the Countryside Live event. Volunteers must have a current Kids Company DBS/Police check.

CREATING A QUIET LIBRARY ZONE

We are looking for one or two volunteers to arrange and organise our Head Office Library space. This includes creating a comfortable environment to read and enjoy our books be it research, training material or children's stories!

Kids Company at the Freud Museum, 4th September

Kids Company is delighted to invite you to an evening launching a unique exhibition at The Freud Museum with an exclusive talk by Peter Fonagy OBE of the Anna Freud Centre.

Please join us on September 4th at The Anna Freud Centre from 18:30. The evening will be opened with a lecture from Professor Peter Fonagy OBE at the Anna Freud Centre. Camila Batmanghelidjh CBE will give an introduction to the exhibition followed by a private view with drinks and nibbles at the Freud Museum.

Wilderness Festival, 8th to 11th August 2013
