Am neuen Produktionsstandort in Xiangtan in der chinesischen Provinz Hunan baut Schaeffler seine weltweit erste Fabrik der Zukunft . Mit diesem 75. Fertigungsstandort erweitert das Unternehmen seinen globalen Werkeverbund und reagiert damit auf zuk nftige Entwicklungstrends. Ende November fand der Spatenstich, unter anderem mit Oliver Jung, Vorstand Produktion, Logistik und Einkauf, statt. 2018 wird mit dem Bau der Produktionsst tte begonnen; 2019 soll sie in Betrieb gehen. Das Geb ude wird auf einer Gesamtfl che von rund 315.000 Quadratmetern entstehen.
Die weltweit erste Fabrik der Zukunft in Xiangtan ist der Struktur eines Schmetterlings nachempfunden. Die vier Hallen bilden dabei die Fl gel, w hrend die Geb ude im Zentrum den K rper darstellen, in dem sich unter anderem die Verwaltungsbereiche befinden werden. Durch diese Anordnung bleibt die Produktion in engem Austausch mit allen unterst tzenden produktionsnahen Bereichen bis hin zu den Bereichen Finanzen, HR und Einkauf. Auf diese Weise wird die interne Kommunikation verbessert. Der Produktionsbereich ist modular aufgebaut. So k nnen neue Module f r Produktionslinien und Produktportfolios leicht hinzugef gt werden.
Neben einer hohen Bau- und Energieeffizienz wurde bei der Gestaltung der Fabrik auf eine gr tm gliche Tageslichtnutzung zur Steigerung der Mitarbeiterzufriedenheit Wert gelegt. Die Fabrik wurde daher so konzipiert, dass die Mitarbeiter von jedem Punkt aus nach au en sehen zu k nnen. Ein standardisiertes Versorgungsraster erlaubt es, Maschinen schnell und unkompliziert ans Netz zu nehmen.

Mit unserem Ansatz wollen wir die Fabrik der Zukunft gestalten, damit wir unsere Fertigungsst tten fit f r die Zukunft machen k nnen.
In der neuen Produktionsst tte in Xiangtan werden Komponenten und Systeme f r Motoren, Getriebe und Fahrwerksysteme f r die Automobilindustrie gefertigt. Diese Produkte sorgen f r Emissionseinsparungen und einen verbesserten Fahrkomfort. Zus tzlich zu den Technologiel sungen wird der Produktionsstandort seinen Kunden Dienstleistungen anbieten.
