Laura Forti Promoted to Vice President, Turner Entertainment Networks Distribution-

Laura Forti has been promoted to vice president of Turner Entertainment Networks (TEN) Distribution, the division of Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. that handles distribution for TBS, TNT, truTV and Turner Classic Movies (TCM) original programs. Forti, who most recently served as director of TEN Distribution, will take on an expanded role for the company, pursuing and brokering high-level international opportunities and strategic partnerships with Turner International, third-party distributors and broadcasters on behalf of TENs portfolio of networks. She will also oversee the organization and international delivery of all broadcast and promotional materials for TEN programming.

Forti is based in Los Angeles and reports to Patrick Kelly, senior vice president of business affairs for TEN. As director of TEN Distribution, Forti has successfully brokered deals for TBSs upcoming series CeeLo Greens The Good Life with Mark Burnetts One Three Media and Bams Badass Game Show with Zodiak Rights; TNTs new show APB with Troy Dunn with Rive Gauche Television; and TCMs original documentary And the Oscar Goes To with Turner International.

Laura has been an invaluable member of our distribution team, from overseeing the international asset-management system she helped launch for the company to streamlining our distribution and delivery processes, said Kelly. In her new role, she will be a key player as we continue to expand the international reach of TEN programming.

Forti has spent the past nine years with Turner Broadcasting. She previously worked for Court TV, which was acquired by Turner Broadcasting in 2006. She has held a variety of roles within the international distribution and business affairs divisions, including as international distribution/co-production and business affairs manager for truTV, which transformed from Court TV in 2008.

Forti earned her bachelors degree from The College of New Jersey, spending a portion of her time studying at The University of Oxford. She is relocating from New York to Los Angeles with her husband and daughter.
