Apple TV in South Africa has undergone a massive 47% price hike, jumping from R84.99 per month to R124.99 per month.

That represents a R480 increase over the course of a 12-month period.
This follows a $2 price increase in the United States which has been applied to South Africa too.

This is the first-ever price hike for Apple TV in the USA, as well as in South Africa and elsewhere in the world.
Are you an Apple TV customer? Apple Music is also increasing, moving from R59.99 to R69.99 per month - at an increase of 16.7%.

The Apple Music Family plan jumped 22.2% overnight from R89.99 to R109.99 per month, while Apple One surged from R139.99 to R179.99 per month.

Apple said in a statement, We introduced Apple TV at a very low price because we started with just a few shows and movies.
