Alejandro Samanes will drive the expansion of Redwood in Latin AmericaEl grupo confirma su expansi n internacional con el establecimiento de una sede central en Bogot (Colombia). Samanes ser el primer ejecutivo del grupo en toda Latinoam rica.
Sequoia ha nombrado CEO de la compa a en Am rica Latina a Alejandro Samanes Prat, que hasta ahora se ocupaba de la direcci n general de la Televisi n Auton mica P blica de la Regi n de Murcia y de la direcci n corporativa de televisi n del grupo audiovisual.
El nuevo responsable de Latinoam rica se ocupar de la consolidaci n de Secuoya en Colombia, Chile, Per as como la expansi n en M xico y Miami y desde la sede central de Bogot buscar expandir las dos l neas principales del negocio de la compa a: servicios y contenidos.
Alejandro Samanes es Licenciado en Ciencias de la Informaci n por la Universidad de Navarra, premio Talento de la Academia de la Ciencias y la Artes de la Televisi n en el 2012, y es reconocido como uno de los profesionales con m s experiencia del sector audiovisual de este pa s.
En los ltimos 15 a os ha sido primer ejecutivo de televisiones auton micas, director general de la red nacional de televisiones del grupo COPE (Popular TV) y consejero delegado y fundador de 13 TV. Igualmente ha sido fundador y m ximo responsable de diversas productoras audiovisuales por lo que posee experiencia en toda la cadena completa del audiovisual.
En abril de 2015 se incorpora al grupo Secuoya como director general de la Televisi n Auton mica Publica 7 TV Regi n de Murcia y asume tambi n la Direcci n Corporativa de Televisi n de la compa a.
Secuoya consolida su negocio en Am rica LatinaSecuoya mantiene una alianza para producci n en televisi n con el grupo Chileno Fabula, que lideran los hermanos Larrain, fruto de la cual ha creado Fabula TV, que actualmente desarrolla proyectos en Chile, Colombia, Per y M xico.
Precisamente una alianza entre estas dos compa as ha propiciado la decisi n de establecer una compa a para toda Latinoam rica que estar ubicada en Colombia, participada por ambos, que se encargue de todo el negocio de los pa ses mencionados y consolide la expansi n del mismo.
Actualmente, Secuoya Latinoam rica est posicionada en Colombia a trav s de importantes acuerdos con clientes como la Agencia Efe, produce en Chile programas para todas las cadenas nacionales con t tulos destacables como La Vega and Se busca, en Per lidera, entre otros, uno de los programas l deres de Am rica TV, Mujeres sin filtro, y est en pleno proceso de consolidaci n en M xico.
Los planes de la compa a en Latinoam rica para los pr ximos a os son un crecimiento exponencial y para ello era necesario el establecimiento de una sede central que estar ubicada en Bogot y al frente de la cual ya se ha desplazado Alejandro Samanes.
