Post O2, initially created to provide services to the subsidiaries of the group, is currently conducting projects for all types of productions in Brazil and other countries.

The post-production process based on DaVinci, which will be implemented gradually, including three studies of digital grading and 77 licenses for devices with Mac or Windows operating systems. All workstations will be connected by a SAN that will cover the entire venue and will create proprietary databases, so that up to 40 people can access in parallel to the same project. Also, since all processes revolve around DaVinci Resolve, both staff and O2 customers will be connected to the network and will be able to open, modify or reproduce the project files from different locations.

Greater speed in the workflow

Paulo Barcellos, CEO of O2, has been commissioned to design and manage the creation of new infrastructure.

Barcellos said that "thanks to the implementation of the infrastructure based on DaVinci Resolve, all team members can access the post-grading process.

"Also, customers of O2 or cinematographers can meet with the supervisor to discuss a project in Resolve.

So far, 14 licenses have been installed DaVinci Resolve and are arranged three studies of grading. The completion of the entire project with eighty licenses are set for late 2015.
