
Hispasat 4K short film International Festival Announces Finalists El festival selecciona 16 cortometrajes, grabados y postproducidos ntegramente en 4K, como finalistas en la tercera edici n del certamen. Los seis trabajos ganadores se anunciar n durante la gala de clausura que tendr lugar el 19 de octubre en el C rculo de Bellas Artes de Madrid. El Festival Internacional de cortos Hispasat 4K, uno de los primeros cert menes del mundo dedicados a cortometrajes grabados y postproducidos ntegramente en 4K, acaba de dar conocer los cortometrajes finalistas de su tercera edici n.
Un total de 127 cortometrajes procedentes de 17 pa ses diferentes se han inscrito en la tercera edici n de este certamen pionero organizado por el operador satelital HISPASAT, lo que supone un incremento cercano al 26% respecto a 2016. Datos que confirman el progresivo aumento de los contenidos en 4K y la expansi n de esta tecnolog a. La convocatoria estaba abierta a obras grabadas y postproducidas ntegramente en 4K, realizadas a partir del 1 de enero de 2015, de cualquier nacionalidad y g nero, con una duraci n m xima de 25 minutos.
El jurado encargado de dilucidar los galardones de esta tercera edici n est compuesto por la actriz Marian lvarez (Leopardo de Oro a la mejor interpretaci n femenina en el Festival de Locarno por su papel en Lo mejor de m , Concha de Plata del Festival de Cine de San Sebasti n por su interpretaci n en The wound), the director and playwright Juan Cavestany)That feeling, people in places, boats have, Premio Max 2008 al mejor autor en castellano por el libreto de Urtain), la actriz Nathalie Poza (El otro lado de la cama, Julieta, Biznaga de Plata a la Mejor Actriz Protagonista en la pasada edici n del Festival de M laga por I dont want to say goodbye), Jes s Ulled Nadal (director de CINE365 Film), Guillermo Ni o (Senior Manager, Broadcast, OTT y Home Video en Dolby Laboratories), Edith Mart nez Odriozola (directora del rea de Cultura y Sociedad de TVE), Miguel ngel Doncel (director ejecutivo de Sgo), Santiago Sanz (responsable comercial de dispositivos pticos en Fujifilm Espa a), Javier Vald s (socio fundador de Ad Hoc Studios) y Luis Le n Luri ( rea de programaci n y gesti n de contenidos de Atresmedia). Ignacio Sanchis (director de Negocio de Hispasat) es el presidente del jurado.
Preestreno de The Maus
El C rculo de Bellas Artes de Madrid acoger el pr ximo 19 de octubre la programaci n del certamen. A lo largo del d a se suceder n las actividades, entre las que se incluye el preestreno en Madrid de The Maus, el esperado salto al largometraje de Yayo Herrero tras su exitosa trayectoria como cortometrajista. Yayo Herrero gan en 2014 el premio de la productora Cine365 Film, consistente en la direcci n de un largometraje. The Maus, un drama de terror fant stico con una atm sfera oscura y m gica, es el resultado de esta colaboraci n. Los 16 cortometrajes finalistas de esta tercera edici n del Festival Hispasat 4K optan de nuevo a este premio que apuesta por el talento emergente.
Tambi n se desarrollar n varias mesas redondas en las que destacados representantes de empresas tecnol gicas debatir n con los del mundo del cine sobre las oportunidades y desaf os que ofrece este nuevo est ndar de Ultra Alta Definici n para la producci n cinematogr fica. El punto culminante de la jornada ser la gala de entrega de premios y la proyecci n en 4K de los cortometrajes ganadores.
