Media transport pioneer to show integrated solutions for media processing and routing, media transport and digital terrestrial television

Nevion will be exhibiting at BVE 2013 in what will be its first major outing since the completion of the merger between media transport pioneers, Nevion and T-VIPS. From video over IP or optical networks to digital terrestrial television and signal processing, the new company will help prepare customers - including broadcasters and service providers - for the next generation of media transport from acquisition to the home.

At stand H51, Nevion will be showcasing the latest innovations to its integrated solutions for media processing and routing, media transport and digital terrestrial broadcasting. These will include a wide range of compression solutions for professional video transport applications, including H.264/MPEG-4 AVCi, MPEG-2 and JPEG 2000, as well as new features in its managed media services platform for complete control and management of media transport networks.

Following its merger with T-VIPS, Nevion will illustrate digital terrestrial solutions for DVB-T/T2 networks, including reliable IP transport products, monitoring and switching devices, and advanced management software. Complete studio infrastructure solutions will also be shown - including small form-factor (SFP) modular signal processing products and edge routers with mixed signal interfacing through SFP devices, as well as distributed network routing solutions with compact optical/electrical mixed routers.
