Gordon Dutch launches BBG Business...

Gordon Dutch, ex MD at Peerless-AV EMEA has launched a consultancy business called BBG Business Development.

The new BBG business has already been involved in numerous projects for both brands, installers and retailers and offers everything from a very basic assessment' of any business, through to project management, sales introductions and even Press and PR.

In his previous role as CEO of BBG Distribution Limited, which Dutch sold to Peerless-AV back in 2009, he was responsible for all aspects of the business and, since the sale, was instrumental in evolving the business from a mainly a retail distribution company into a major manufacturer in EMEA.

John Potts, CEO of Peerless-AV, confirmed, Peerless-AV would like to pay tribute to the incredible work Gordon and his team have done since 2009. Peerless-AV was a brand that was well known in the US, Canada and South America. However, it's sales and brand awareness since we launched Peerless-AV EMEA in 2009 has been massive. Gordon's strategic leadership and incredible work ethic, along with the dynamic leadership of a best-in-class team, which he assembled, has led Peerless-AV to the forefront of the mounting business and opened new areas of opportunity, including our very successful outdoor displays, kiosks and LED systems. It has been an absolute pleasure working with Gordon and we wish him all the luck in his new venture

Dutch confirmed I am really looking forward to getting involved in a new major business or project. Whilst I have enjoyed the past 18 months R & R, I realised that I wasn't very good at Golf and really missed the front line where I spent so much time when incepting and building the various business ventures that remain so healthy and vibrant today.

It is planned that Dutch will remain on the Peerless EMEA board as a strategic advisor and Non-Exec role for the coming years and is therefore free to take any non competing' roles.
