16 January, 2025 - Winchester, UK - Arqiva, a leading provider of Smart Utility Networks, has been selected by Affinity Water to roll out its Smart metering infrastructure to cover 400,000 properties across the Home Counties plus parts of Essex, Kent and Surrey.

The 15-year contract, with rollout over the next five years, will bring all the benefits of Smart metering to Affinity Water customers, including regular accurate readings which help identify trends in usage, reduce consumption and help to identify leaks.

The Arqiva network will utilise Diehl meters operating on LoRaWAN technology, delivered in partnership with Netmore Group.
