AP and Graphiq expand collaboration to offer interactive visualizations to all AP customers The Associated Press and Graphiq announced today that the companys complete interactive database is accessible to all of AP's member news organizations and customers.

Leveraging the worlds largest visualization library, Graphiq will pair relevant data visualizations with APs global news coverage to make it easier for customers to find applicable graphics.

An initial collaboration between Graphiq and AP was announced last year. Under our expanded relationship, AP will now vet, select and link to Graphiq visualizations that most closely match AP stories. Customers can publish or set up an auto-publishing feed for the content, allowing them to increase the number of interactive graphics on story pages. Inclusion of Graphiq's interactives in stories has resulted in up to 40 percent more reader time on-site for some customers.

AP and Graphiq have already begun pairing graphics with top news, business and sports stories and will roll out matched infographics in new verticals over the next year.

As part of the collaboration, Graphiq will place a team at APs global headquarters in New York to work with the news cooperatives editorial personnel.

AP members and customers can contact their AP representative to seamlessly integrate the new content directly into their CMS at no added charge, aligning the additional Graphiq visualizations with their stream of AP news and information. AP and Graphiq have also launched a web search portal that features Graphiqs semantic search technology, which matches natural language queries with contextually rich visualizations.

After launching its publishing products in August 2015, Graphiq has led the market in data visualization for publishing, touting more than 250 million monthly visualization impressions across third-party sites and building a library of more than 10 billion visualizations. AP customers will have access to all Graphiq visualizations.
