Arturia announce the AstroLab 88

AstroLab series gains 88-note model

Arturia have announced the launch of a new 88-note version of the AstroLab, their powerful all-in-one stage keyboard. Loaded with 40 instruments and over 1600 presets, the AstroLab 88 comes equipped with a Fatar TP-40L hammer-action keybed, and also boasts increased polyphony and improved loading times thanks to some behind-the-scenes improvements.

Multi-Instruments: The AstroLab 88 allows users to assign different sounds across the keyboard with programmable split points - ideal for layering percussive sequences, deep basses, delicate keys or soaring leads. Build dynamic multi-instruments and save them for instant recall or DAW integration.

Loop & Record: Expand your creative flow with up to 32 bars of MIDI looping. Capture melodies, chord progressions or textures live, then reassign the loop to any instrument to transform sounds in real time.

Vocoder Engine: Plug in a mic and explore a range of vocal textures directly with the AstroLab 88's built-in vocoder engine, powered by Arturia's Vocoder V.

Coming Soon Arturia have also revealed some details on an upcoming firmware update that will kit the AstroLab out with yet more built-in content. Set for release by 17 July 2025, the update will introduce new instruments from V Collection 11 - including MiniBrute V, Augmented YANGTZE, Augmented MALLETS, Synthx V, SEM V3, JP-8000 V and Pure LoFi - along with quicker preset loading, seamless playlist sync with Analog Lab, on-the-fly Program Changes for external gear, and direct FX & MIDI editing from Analog Lab.
