Cardinals vs. Nationals Begins with Game 1 Tomorrow, Friday, Oct. 11, at 8 p.m. ET
16-Year MLB Veteran Curtis Granderson to Join MLB on TBS Studio Coverage Throughout NLCS TBS will exclusively televise the 2019 National League Championship Series presented by GEICO (NLCS) - St. Louis Cardinals vs. Washington Nationals - beginning with Game 1 of the best-of-seven series tomorrow, Friday, Oct. 11, at 8 p.m. ET. The NL Central Champion Cardinals will host Games 1 and 2 against the Wild Card-winning Nationals, who are looking to earn their first NL pennant in franchise history. Brian Anderson (play-by-play) will be joined by MLB on TBS analysts Ron Darling and Jeff Francoeur, along with reporter Lauren Shehadi to call the NLCS.
New for this years NLCS, 16-year MLB veteran and two-time National League Champion Curtis Granderson will join the MLB on TBS studio team for analysis throughout the series. He has appeared in the Postseason in eight of his 16 career seasons, including each of the 2015-18 seasons.
Granderson will provide commentary alongside Hall of Famer Pedro Martinez, nine-time All-Star Gary Sheffield, former NL MVP Jimmy Rollins and host Casey Stern in the Atlanta studio, with the MLB Postseason Pre-Game Show on TBS presented by ExxonMobil leading off the networks NLCS coverage on Friday at 7 p.m. The studio team will also offer postgame analysis on The Postseason Show on TBS presented by Physicians Mutual.

2019 NLCS Additional Production Notes *Field microphones - TBS will deploy 10 microphones embedded around the field for enhanced natural sound for every game telecast during the Postseason. Six microphones will be placed around the field, with two microphones each also placed around the pitchers mound and home plate. Additionally, a microphone will be used in each base for every TBS Postseason game telecast for the first time.
*Cameras - A total of nine high frame rate cameras (highlighted by two that can run as high as 2000 frames per second) will be used to provide stunning super slo-mo replays. The two Phantom Flex Cameras used for the NLCS will be placed at the low 1st and low 3rd base positions and will capture swings, pitch follows, fielding and color.
*Overall camera notes - TBS will have the use of 19-23 coverage cameras and 8 super mo cameras during the NLCS.
Live Streaming *Live streaming coverage of all MLB Postseason games airing on TBS will be available via www.tbs.com and the Watch TBS App.
*Fans will be able to access the games whenever and wherever they desire by logging in with the user name and password provided by their TV service provider.
*Additionally, all MLB on TBS Postseason game telecasts will be available in Spanish via SAP.
