Wild & Marr join Calrec's expanding distributor network

Calrec continues to expand its global coverage with the appointment of Wild & Marr in South Africa who will supply and service Calrec's TV and radio product range across the region and install them in its forthcoming Experience Centre in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The Wild & Marr Experience Centre will be a space where Calrec's range of proprietary and IP solutions will join others in a working environment. It will include a broadcast studio, production studio, live stage with line arrays and a dedicated training facility.

This new relationship builds upon Calrec's expanded distributor network with the company recently adding partners in response to a high level of market demand. Calrec has expanded coverage across 20 regions with; GSL (UAE, KSA, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Jordan, Iraq); Audiopole (France); Leading Technologies (Italy); Bon Studios (Greece); SF SES (Turkey); Soundware (Sweden); ALA (Cyprus); VCR (Columbia); Libor (Brazil); Intervideo (Chile); Lydromet (Norway, Denmark); Heynen (Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg; and Audio A.E. (Latvia).

A division of TOMS Sound & Music LTD, Wild & Marr has been a distribution company in the professional audio world over 25 years, although the company has been in existence far longer. In the more recent past, Wild & Marr has added a range of AV and control products to their distribution product bouquet. It has distribution centres in Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Durban as well as retail stores around South Africa.
