Ad Hoc Announcement Pursuant to 5 WpHG: Carl Zei Meditec exceeds revenue forecast

Based on preliminary data, Carl Zeiss Meditec (ISIN: DE0005313704) has exceeded its revenue forecast for financial year 2014/15. Revenue amounts to approximately EUR 1,040 mn, an increase of around 14% over the previous year's figure. Previously, the company had forecast revenue of EUR 960-1,000 mn. Currency effects contributed significantly to growth. The adjusted EBIT margin is expected to reach at least the lower half of the target corridor of 13-15%.
