Izotope release Nectar Elements New simplified vocal processor for home recordists

Izotopes new Nectar Elements is a simplifed version of the Nectar processor we reviewed in March 2011. Nectar Elements retains many of the corrective processors from the original, including pitch correction, de-esser, EQ and gate, but has fewer controls. One of the key selling points is the wide range of style presets, consisting of long effect chains, that can be quickly auditioned and tweaked. This should be very helpful in speeding up the workflow of less experienced engineers or demoing musicians.

Nectar Elements is available now for £99.00/115.00 and an upgrade path to the full version of Nectar is available as well.
