La serie brasile a Bajo Presi n' fue seleccionada para el SeriesFest, el mayor festival exclusivo de series de Estados Unidos. El evento tiene lugar en Denver, hasta el 27 de junio y est dedicado a presentar al p blico, al mercado y a los productores los mejores y m s innovadores contenidos de series que se producen alrededor del mundo. La serie Bajo Presi n', una coproducci n de Globo y Conspira o Filmes, retrata, con gran adrenalina, la rutina de un equipo de m dicos que necesita enfrentarse a las adversidades para mantener con vida a los pacientes en un hospital de bajos recursos, ubicado en los suburbios de R o de Janeiro.
Esta es la segunda vez que Globo participa del SeriesFest. El a o pasado, la empresa exhibi la indicada al Emmy Los Experimentados'.
Bajo Presi n' as como Los Experimentados', forma parte de la nueva generaci n de series que Globo viene presentando en las principales ferias y festivales audiovisuales del mundo. Su primera temporada, disponible en el cat logo de licencias en 4K, conquist al p blico brasile o, alcanzando un promedio de 40 millones de personas por episodio y 44 millones solo en su estreno. Ya se est produciendo una segunda temporada de la serie.
Con una producci n innovadora y una narrativa extremamente realista, Bajo Presi n' viene obteniendo notoriedad internacionalmente. Siendo exhibida en festivales como Berlinale (Berl n) y TIFF (Toronto), la primera temporada fue galardonada con cuatro premios en el 31 Festival International des Programmes Audivisuels (Fipa), realizado en enero de este a o en Biarritz, Francia: Mejor serie; Mejor interpretaci n femenina y masculina: para Marjorie Estiano ( Relaciones Peligrosas') y Julio Andrade ( Justicia'), respectivamente; y Mejor guion. Asimismo, los derechos de transmisi n de la trama ya fueron adquiridos por Portugal y por el grupo MBC de Medio Oriente.
Bajo Presi n' es fruto del largometraje hom nimo de Andrucha Waddington. Se trata de una serie creada por Luiz Noronha, Claudio Torres y Renato Fagundes a partir de una idea original de Mini Kerti, inspirada libremente en el libro Sob Press o A rotina de guerra de um m dico brasileiro (Bajo Presi n - La rutina de guerra de un m dico brasile o, en traducci n libre) de Marcio Maranh o, que tiene como autor a Jorge Furtado, quien escribe los episodios junto a Lucas Paraizo, Antonio Prata y Marcio Alem o, y que cuenta adem s con el asesoramiento m dico de Marcio Maranh o.
