The first episode of Die Real Housewives of Pretoria debuted on Thursday 13 October. Viewers were introduced to six housewives, Renske Lammerding, Mari Bosman, Talana Kuhn, Kiki La Coco, Mel Viljoen and Rhona Erasmus. The Pretoria housewives scored rave reviews from fans with many looking forward to the drama in the upcoming episodes

DIE REAL HOUSEWIVES VAN PRETORIA' Die Real Housewives van Pretoria makes history as the first Afrikaans version of the global reality series. It is also the fourth instalment of the series in South Africa and the fifth in Africa.

In the first episode, viewers met six women who are known in Pretoria for their businesses, luxury vehicles, high-end clothes and their cliques . The cast members reside behind the high walls of the capital city's luxury estates while Kiki La Coco is looking to move from Mpumalanga to Pretoria with her family.

All six women got together at Renske's house in Silver Lakes for a stokvel and it did not take long for the drama to begin

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM DIE REAL HOUSEWIVES VAN PRETORIA' Die Real Housewives van Pretoria is set to be a 13-part series. kykNET's director of channels, Waldimar Pelser, said the channel wanted to showcase a group of strong Afrikaans women from Pretoria.
