GUARD YOURSELF AGAINST AN ANGRY WORD BY TASNIM LANGRY Guard yourself against an angry word,

--

Whether it leaves your lips, eavesdropping on a vicious bird.

Actions forgotten easily,

Harsh words sting, ringing inside viciously!

--

To arm oneself with a weapon invincible,

Silence is to listen carefully,

Speak only . . . when you feel entirely Responsible.

--

Choose your spoken word wisely,

Hearing an oration, emoted precisely.

Emotions run bare, fleeing profanity as poison should be.

Words uttered magic-manifesting reality.

If only more tactful, courteous . . . reaching unity.

Destructive as a blade from a Samurai sword . . .

This is the rare power of the spoken word.

Nuclear codes and conversations igniting wars,

All these circumstances dissipated if silence was listening on all fours.

Before those words evaporate as an angry fume,

Take note of how you look, do you in anger words assume?

For many, words don't come easy,

Silence takes over leaving nature queasy.

Not-so-easy to simply say,

Oh harsh words of my heart, be gone, please do not stay!

A home good words can consciously find,

Saving one's tongue from a vicious grind.

Save reputation through a simple factor,

Choose words automatically, those which truly ever matter!

Come clean with your own,

Savouring sweet blossoms, kind words, You have sown!
