Dejero to Demonstrate New Remote Production Workflows Made Possible with Latest Connectivity Equipment at NAB 2018

Dejero, an innovator in cloud-managed solutions that provide video transport and Internet connectivity while mobile or in remote locations, will unveil its latest GateWay M6E6 router and demonstrate new examples of in-the-field broadcast workflows made possible with its mobile connectivity solution at NAB Show 2018.

The Dejero GateWay solution allows crews working on location to access their newsroom or media asset management systems, send and receive large files, access cloud services used for collaboration, and communicate with their colleagues back at the studio. It provides reliable, fast, and secure access to the public Internet and private networks using high-bandwidth blended network technology.

The GateWay M6E6 router offers greater throughput with six embedded modems, which results in higher data transmission speeds. Reliability is also boosted due to increased carrier diversity since a greater number of mobile network providers can be used. Six Ethernet ports offer greater flexibility when it comes to connecting other networking equipment to the router, or adding different connectivity types, such as satellite via BGAN or other portable satellite terminals.

A key challenge that broadcasters and media organizations face with outside broadcasts and remote productions is access to reliable connectivity to transfer data between the remote site and the main broadcast facility, explained Bogdan Frusina, founder, Dejero. The new GateWay M6E6 router provides greater reliability and throughput that enables VoIP communications, MAM system access, and a whole new range of possibilities when operating remotely in the field.

The complete Dejero GateWay solution includes a router installed in a vehicle or portable REMI (remote integration) cart, proprietary network blending software, connectivity services that include enterprise-grade SIMs and flexible data plans, cloud management services, and 24/7 support.

Our focus is to remove the complexities of establishing secure connectivity while on location, networking with other equipment, and managing the devices that provide the connectivity, added Frusina. Just as we've simplified live broadcasting from the field with IP contribution, we're applying our blended connectivity technology to simplify the transfer of data back and forth between the field and the studio. This allows broadcasters to further integrate their remote production workflows, and ultimately save time and reduce costs.

Dejero will be demonstrating the new GateWay M6E6 router, and an expanded array of in-the-field workflows made possible with the GateWay solution, during the upcoming NAB 2018 trade show at LVCC, Las Vegas, April 9-12, booth C2025 in the central hall.
