Media Links, manufacturer and pioneer in Media over IP transport technology, has appointed Tsukasa Sugawara as its new CEO, effective April 1, 2020. Tsukasa was previously Chief Technology Officer for the Company and succeeds John Dale III, who will remain actively involved in the role of Chief Marketing Officer. John also remains a board member of Media Links.
Tsukasa has been the CTO for Media Links since June 2014 and is a key architect of Media Links ongoing IP product development strategy. As Media Links new CEO, his leadership expertise will help steer the company and its dedicated and talented employees forward toward its next generation charge into 100G and beyond Media over IP transport technology, serving broadcasters and service providers across the globe.
Tsukasa Sugawara comments: I'm excited to see how our solutions are developing and I look forward to working more closely with our current and new customers as we continue to provide a bridge from SDI to their new IP environments. As the requirements of accelerated IP workflows and bandwidth demands increase, we are poised to address the business challenges this brings and deliver the IP transport solutions our customers need. I would like to thank John Dale for his diligent work over the last few years. His customer-commitment, dedication and vision has, and will continue to guide Media Links as a pioneer and leader in the field of Media over IP technology.
In his new role as CMO, John will focus on new global business development to further advance Media Links presence in the broadcast market and create new opportunities in other vertical markets.
Both Tsukasa and John have led the company through a rapidly evolving IP transition, serving as industry visionaries and Media Links technology evangelists. Their strategies have helped develop Media Links into a company known for its proven and trusted IP media solutions & services. The company's reputation for reliability has ensured that its products & professional services are used time and time again for the world's most watched sporting events, political conventions and media showcases.
