Haivision has announced Scheduler, a new feature in the Haivision Video Cloud that helps organizations create online broadcast channels by easily scheduling live streams and VOD content to play out at a specific times throughout the day or continuously 24/7.
As live video content continues to captivate online audiences, organizations are turning to the Haivision Video Cloud to build online viewing experiences that capture the essence of a live broadcast. Using the Haivision Video Cloud Scheduler, organizations can combine live and VOD content to build simulated-live experiences that create more engaging interactions online without the added stress, pressure, and risk associated with a live production. The Scheduler feature also gives organizations the ability to target, market to, and connect with their international audiences, creating simulated-live experiences for specific times zones.
The Scheduler pulls live feeds and VOD assets from the Haivision Video Cloud's Video Content Management System and pre-populates content for playout throughout the week, at designated times. The Scheduler includes a countdown feature that drives audiences to share in the online viewing experience at the same time, helping organizations ensure that message boards are administered at peak viewing times, promoting engagement.
