Utah Scientifics UTAH-100/UDS Nominated for SATIS Trophe

SALT LAKE CITY Nov. 6, 2012 Utah Scientific, a worldwide leader in routing and master control switchers, today announced that its UTAH-100/UDS universal distribution system has been nominated for a coveted SATIS Trophe. Held in conjunction with the SATIS conference and exhibition, scheduled for Nov. 13-15 at the Halle Freyssinet in Paris, the SATIS Trophe program recognizes innovative products in the categories of production, postproduction, broadcast, and playout. The UTAH-100/UDS was nominated in the Production category by Utah Scientifics French distributor, OBV.TV.

The UTAH-100/UDS is a compact, powerful distribution and routing system that features very low power consumption, intuitive browser setup and control, and a very small footprint. The modular system is based on I/O modules with 16 ports, and is interconnected by a crosspoint fabric that allows any input signal to feed any number of output ports. The system is suitable for use in all types of video operations, including television stations, production houses, and pro A/V installations.
